Portugal North Coast - Pombal Castle

We missed the last entry to Pombal Castle by 5 minutes so had to do with just exploring it from the outside. The Castle of Pombal is built on the site of a former Roman castro and a former Arab fortress. It was given to the Knights Templar around 1128.
